Hello there !
Here is my first ever blog post of 2020 and technically my first blog post ( that is still visible on the internet)
For those of you who have been here before, you might be a little confused.Let me clarify a few things for you, Q and A style :
Q: Didn't you start this blog back in 2018 ?
A: yes..yes I did. However I was ( possibly still am ) a really inconsistent blogger. My posts were all over the place so I have decided to start again .
Actually I think that pretty much clears everything up !!
Lots of things have changed since my first attempt at blogging.
I learnt that I am horrendous at taking part in readathons . I learnt what NetGalley is ,questioned how I had gone my whole life without knowing it existed and signed up immediately. I got slightly better at posting on bookstagram, met some pretty fabulous online friends and then life got pretty crazy! In October 2019 Kal and I bought a house, moved in and the we eloped three weeks later ( yay for secret weddings on bonfire night ). Then house renovations took over our lives.
After a cold few months over winter without central heating,many hours of painting walls, doors and ceilings........we still are nowhere near done haha. Oh and the central heating isn't actually being fixed until the second week in January BUT it is 2020 and I am really excited to give blogging another try .
I am going to try my best to upload at least one new post a week talking about bookish goodness, life and the importance of a decently made cup of tea. I will also hopefully be posting lots of bookish goodness over on bookstagram and on twitter so feel free to follow me and pop up and say hi !
